The purpose of the training is to give management teams across the organization, or organizations, a common language and understanding of digital development, so they can more easily identify opportunities and barriers and collaborate to realize the opportunities.

As a management group or management groups you will achieve:

  • Common language for the digital agenda internally in the management group, or across the management groups from other organizations.
  • Strengthened the competencies of both individual and management teams in relation to the organization's digital transformation.
  • Inspiration for how the digital transformative possibilities can be realized and anchored - based on knowledge sharing as well as inspiration from research and cases.
    • Mutual understanding and strengthening of collaboration and ecosystem thinking, including identification of shared and local areas of focus to increase digital maturity.
    • Support for identifying specific objectives for the organization's further digital transformation in both the short and long term, based on e.g., mapping digital maturity and the organization's capabilities for digital transformation.

Training in Digital Transformation is aimed at larger groups of managers in one organization or management groups from several organizations (e.g., industry organizations, professional associations, network groups, etc.), who want to strengthen their competencies to lead digital transformation. And at the same time want to be equipped to launch initiatives to increase digital maturity in their organization.

    Do you recognize the following:

    • Are you a larger group of managers who needs to understand the digital development and what it takes to realize the opportunities associated with the use of digital technologies?
    • Do you lack a common language and competencies across the organization, or across several organizations, to lead the digital development and implement the necessary change in your own practice and organization?
    • Do you lack inspiration for how digital transformation can be approached and knowledge about what others do and/or have done?
    • Do you experience a need for a structured process over a longer time period in order to take the next targeted steps in the work with digital transformation?
    • Are you interested in mapping your current digital maturity and the gap between current and future desirable maturity and using it as the starting point for strengthening the capabilities for digital transformation, and working to develop both the maturity and the capabilities over time?

Then the Training in Digital Transformation program is right for you.

Pernille Kræmmergaard Digital Transformation Training program

The Training in Digital Transformation is modular, and we offer four different modules, each with its own theme:

    Strategy, Technology, Organization and Leadership

This module works with the importance of the digital and technological development for the organization's future basis of existence, its relationships with customers / citizens and partners. Participants are introduced to the development and the strategic implications as well as the opportunities to lead the development rather than be controlled by it. It is discussed both in the individual management team and across the teams how the development should be reflected strategically in their own organization.

This module works on how the organization's current and future possibilities depend on the choices made, or the once being made, about technologies, IT platforms, and data management. The participants get among other things an understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure and is thus equipped to be able to assess the connection between strategic ambitions and decisions about technology, IT, and data. Further, the specific contexts in one's own organization are discussed in the management teams and across.

This module works with the importance of organizing the work, the relationship with and frames for the employees, so that they are constantly harmonized with the digital visions and ambitions, and the expectations from and to the employees. Participants gain insight into how strategic ambitions and decisions about technology, IT, and data require change for the organization and employees, including, among other things, the need for developing a digital mindset at different levels, innovative practice, and agile mindset and methods.

This module works with the competencies that the managers themselves, in addition to general management competencies, must master in an increasingly digital and technological environment with the associated diversity of realities and uncertainty. Participants are introduced to, and discuss, what it takes of themselves and their leadership to lead the organization's digital transformation. Further, the participants will share experiences and discuss approaches to leading in relation to the many new bottom lines and making the transformation meaningful for the employees and other stakeholders.

Each module consists of three steps:

    1) Preparation: Common language and understanding

    • Individual work with theory and cases (for which a digital learning platform is provided)
    • Local discussions in each management group around a given challenge that aims to inspire and challenge

    2) Gathering: Current starting point

    • Full day program for all participating management groups, where there is an alternation between conceptual presentations, cases, and facilitated dialogue and knowledge sharing
    • Mapping and working with the starting point of one's own organization, including barriers and opportunities

    3) Follow-up: Further efforts

    • Work in the local management group with the important learning points within the module
    • The management group determine their own level of ambition and discuss initiatives in the short and long term in relation to the module's theme

The division into these steps is intended to help the participants to continuously link the conceptual content to the work in their own organization and practice.

The participants have access to a learning platform with videos, podcasts, literature, exercises, etc. Here it is also possible to follow their own progression and continuously access the material from the gatherings.

Before and during the program, the DI2X tools are used mapping the participants own organization's digital maturity and capabilities for digital transformation. The individual test-results are anonymous, but the aggregated anonymized results will be included and discussed during the program.
