Anja and Eirin using the digital maturity tool

The Digital Mindset Profile is based on a self-assessment test that maps the digital mindset of leaders and can be conducted as individual mappings or as group mappings.

Responses can be collected from as many leaders and leadership groups as you want. You also have the option to add up to 10 additional questions of your choice.

To support effective collaboration and data analysis across language barriers and organizational needs, the DI2X Tools are designed to support multiple languages and geographic areas, including Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English, and German. The questionnaires are also adapted to both the private and public sectors.

The self-assessment test

The self-assessment test consists of 48 questions divided into the areas of Strategy, Technology, Organization, and Leadership, with 4 abilities under each area and 3 questions dedicated to each ability, each representing a sub-ability.

The test also includes 4 background questions and takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

For each question, the respondent is presented with a statement about themselves. The respondent is asked to evaluate, on a scale from 1 to 7, how well the statement applies to them.

The areas and abilities covered are:

  • Strategy: Digital Visionary, End-customer Focus, Ecosystem Mindset and Organic Fitness
  • Technology: Technological Foresight, IT orchestration, Data-driven, and Cyber Secure
  • Organization: Ambidextrous, Agile, Workplace Environment and Competence-aware
  • Leadership: Tech and Data Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Multiplicity Leadership and Maturity Leadershipp

Immediately after answering the questions, the respondent get access to their own analysis results online, which can also be downloaded as a report and stored locally. Respondents will also receive an email with a link to the results, which can then be revisited.

All responses are anonymous, and respondents can choose whether they want to share their results with others.

Analytics, reports and data processing

You appoint one or more administrators who have access to a wide range of online analysis tools that make it possible to compare anonymized responses across respondents, groups, departments, time, and the areas, abilities, and sub-abilities covered by the self-assessment test. It is also possible to extract data for selected groupings, display results in different languages, and much more.

Administrators have access to the aggregated, anonymized data by default. An administrator can see how many people in a group have responded, but not who or what each person has answered. However, if only one respondent has been asked to complete the self-assessment test, administrators will be able to see their responses.

For both individuals and larger groups, data and analysis results are displayed online with intuitive graphical representations that illustrate the strength of a specific area, ability, or sub-ability. Strengths, weaknesses, differences, and disagreements are clearly highlighted.

Results can be downloaded and printed as reports in various formats and used directly in practice for for recruitment, development discussions, presentations, group discussions, workshops, etc.

If you wish to repeat the mappings, your administrators can create new mappings for as many respondents and groups as you like. You can also create your own questions and conduct analyses on both past and recent data at any time.
