DI2X Facilitator Certification

For consultants, HR professionals, advisors, and others who wish to facilitate development processes in leadership teams or organizations.

After the course, you will be able to apply the DI2X frameworks, tools, and methods for strategy, leadership, competence, and organizational development. You will be able to analyze data from DI2X Tools, design and facilitate development processes, and support leaders and leadership teams in setting direction, prioritizing, and translating complex challenges into concrete development opportunities.

The course can be held as an open course or as a closed course for a group within a specific organization, either at our own facilities, at our partners’ facilities, or at your own location.

Target audience

  • The course is intended for internal and external consultants, facilitators, HR professionals, advisors, and leaders who want to play an active role in organizational digital maturity and in the development of leaders and leadership teams.
  • It is aimed at those working with strategy, change, innovation, leadership, competence, or organizational development – and who facilitate development processes in the public or private sector.
  • The course is especially relevant for those who want to strengthen their professional competence, build confidence as a facilitator, and gain practical methods and a structured approach to working with digital maturity and transformation.
The course aims to enable participants to:
  • Work with DI2X’s research-based frameworks, Tools, and methods to support organizational development efforts related to digital maturity and transformation.
  • Facilitate processes that promote competence and strategy development, reflection, innovation, and activities that lead to measurable results.
  • Use DI2X’s learning materials, methods, DI2X Tools, and data analyses from assessments for strategy, leadership competence, and organizational development.
  • Translate the DI2X frameworks into concrete action points and initiatives, while supporting leaders and teams in setting direction, prioritizing, and developing through a structured and facilitative approach that explores challenges and identifies solutions.

Content

  • The course is conducted in a dialogue-based format and includes work on your own case and practical context.
  • Participation requires prior knowledge of the DI2X frameworks. Upon registration, participants will receive the books Mind the Gap and Navigate Digital Transformation by Pernille Kræmmergaard.
  • Preparation: The two books are expected to be read before the two course days, so that participants gain in-depth knowledge of the DI2X frameworks in advance. Participants are also asked to familiarize themselves with the DI2X Resource Center and the learning materials available there, complete the self-assessment of their own digital mindset, and align with their immediate manager on which case they wish to work on in connection with the certification.
  • The 2-day course concludes with a multiple-choice test, and the entire program ends with an oral virtual evaluation of the case work with the course leader and a DI2X examiner. Upon passing both the test and the case work, participants will receive a DI2X certificate as proof of having achieved the learning objectives.
2-day course

In-person attendance with teaching, dialogue, exercises, and guidance.

Participants will work with their own experiences and practice, mappings and data analysis, and there will be ample opportunity for knowledge sharing among participants.

Preparation is required before the course, and participants are expected to bring a proposed case.

Concludes with a multiple choice test.

Case Work in Own Organization

Implementation of a development process in one's own practice using the DI2X frameworks, learning materials, and DI2X Tools.

Two hours of guidance and coaching are provided during the process.

A final case description is to be developed.

Duration: approx. 2-3 months

Virtual Evaluation and Completion

Participants present their own case and the outcome for their organization.

All course participants attend and share knowledge and experiences from their work with the case.

Concludes with an oral evaluation conducted by the course leader and an examiner from DI2X

Course Leaders and Instructors

If you take the course with DI2X, you will meet Pernille Kræmmergaard, Ph.D. and the researcher behind the DI2X frameworks, or Eirin Folde, who has many years of experience in the education and training of facilitators. Pernille is the founder and CEO of DI2X, while Eirin is the Country Manager for DI2X in Norway.

If you take the course with one of our partners, you will meet one or more of their advanced certified consultants.

Final Evaluation and DI2X Certificate

It is a requirement that the multiple-choice test is passed before participation in the final virtual evaluation is possible. Prior to the virtual evaluation, the course leader and examiner read the participant’s final case description and conduct the oral evaluation to ensure that the learning objectives have been achieved.

DI2X issues a certificate as proof of having completed and passed the course. The certificate is valid for the following two calendar years, after which it is recommended to renew the certificate to ensure updated knowledge of the DI2X frameworks as well as new materials and methods.

Practical completion

Part 1: The cource

2 days

At the two-day course you will learn about and discuss the two frameworks, try the tests yourself, and learn how to analyze and use test-results. Furthermore, the course will focus on competency development and organizational learning, linking the theoretical knowledge and the test results to this objective.

The first day of the course focuses on the framework: Digital Maturity and Organisational Capabilities. The second day of the course focuses on DI2X tools and different applications. You will work on an analysis of test results and case. Furthermore you will learn how to use the Tools as well as the materials in the Resource Center in competence development and learning processes in your own organization.

After the two course days, you will answer a multiple-choice test consisting of 30 questions. The test takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Case work

4 weeks

The next four weeks you will work on a case in your own organization, or at a co-operation partner. You will collect data to enlighten your planning of competence development or another initiative. This could be data from our Tools, strategies from the organization, interviews with key individuals, dialog with managers etc. After the data collection you will have a one-hour virtual supervision with a DI2X expert.

 

Part 3: Virtual Workshop

½ day

At the half-day workshop, you will present your analysis of the data you have collected as well as the goals of the next part of our case work. Based on feedback, inspiration and dialogue you will begin outlining the relevant competence development or other change efforts.

Part 4: Case Work

3 months

You initiate and facilitate a competence development or other change efforts in your own organization, where you use the frameworks, the DI2X tools, and test results etc. During this 3-months period you can participate in 2 virtual sparring sessions with a DI2X expert and other participants in the Certification program.

Part 5: Final Workshop

½ day

At the ½-day workshop you and the other participants presents your competence development or other change efforts and demonstrate what you have learned. The workshop allows for knowledge sharing and ends with a certification.

After completing the Certification program, you will receive a certificate stating that you have completed the program and when.
